REALTORS® United in Support of Home Ownership

Code of Ethics

Enforcement of the Code of Ethics is a privilege and responsibility of each Board and Association as established in Article IV of the Bylaws of the National Association of REALTORS®.

Although members of the Grievance, Professional Standards, and Board of Directors, must undergo Professional Standards training, every member is welcome to take the training on-line.

The National Association of REALTORS® (NAR) Code of Ethics, adopted in 1913, was one of the first codifications of ethical duties adopted by any business group. The Code ensures that consumers are served by requiring REALTORS® to cooperate with each other in furthering clients' best interests.
