2019 Q4 Homeownership Opportunities & Market Survey

Highlights

Across nearly all groups surveyed, the majority feel that now is a good time to buy a home. 

Those in the Silent Generation (73%) and Younger Boomers (70%) are the most likely to think now is a good time to buy a home, as well as those in the Midwest (69%).

Seventy four percent of people believe that now is a good time to sell a home, which is the same from Q3 2019.

  • Those who earn $100,000 or more (82%), live in the West (81%), and own their home are most likely to think that now is a good time to sell a home.
