You can go to our website, cecilcountyboardofrealtors.com, from there you will find the tabs for Members, you will choose this is you are joining as a Realtor®. Make sure that you choose the correct application, Primary membership, or Secondary Membership.

If you are joining as a new affiliate member, you will go to cecilcountyboardofrealtors.com and click on the affiliate tab.

CCBOR dues are due on January 1^st every year. If not paid by February 1^st the first late fee is applied. If not paid by March 1^st a second late fee is applied. April 1^st you will become inactive.

Your NRDs number, NAR ID, and National Association of Realtors® member number all mean the same. It is a nine-digit number you are assigned when joining CCBOR. This number is listed in your welcome email you receive after your application has been approved and processed.

To become a Secondary Member of CCBOR you will need a letter of good standing from your Primary Board. You can also go to www.cecilcountyboardofrealtors.com and fill out the secondary membership form.

You have 15 days to update your information.

You CANNOT change your office information online. This is done by CCBOR. If you have transferred brokerages you can find the change of information form Change of Information - Cecil County Board of REALTORS® - Cecil County Board of REALTORS®. The form is on the CCBOR website under the About tab.

Yes! You can pay through your portal with your credit card. Checks will need to be paid at the CCBOR office.

Emails are sent to members as soon as dues are available for payment, about Mid-December. Dues information, when dues are due, will be posted in the Board Talk, which is the weekly newsletter sent out on Fridays, as well as posted on the Member Facebook page https://www.facebook.com/groups/ccbor

You can log into your portal at any time and find any invoices that require payment.

The REALTOR® Emeritus status eligibility requirements are:

NAR requirements: Forty (40) years of REALTOR® or REALTOR-ASSOCIATE® (or both) membership.

Proof of one (1) year of service* at the National Association level.

* "Service" is defined as serving as an NAR officer, director, committee member, Federal Political Coordinator, Global Ambassador, or Global Coordinator to a country with which NAR holds a reciprocal agreement.

MR requirements: A REALTOR® who has held membership in the state Association for a cumulative period of fifty (50) years is eligible for REALTOR® Emeritus status.

Upon approval of an application for REALTOR® Emeritus by the Board of Directors of the Maryland REALTORS®, no further payment of dues to the state Association is necessary by the local association/board of which the REALTOR® Emeritus is a member.

Normal business hours are 9 am to 4:30 pm. If there are any changes to office hours, that information will be posted on the Facebook page as well as sent out by email.

CCBOR observed Holidays: New Year’s Day, President’s Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Independence Day (4^th of July), Labor Day, Veteran’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day. The day after Thanksgiving and Christmas Eve are at the discretion of the Board of Directors.

Yes! We offer classes throughout the year, as well as 2-day specials at a special cost. These classes are offered to Members at a discounted cost and Non-Members as well. The Maryland Real Estate Commission tracks your CE Credits. Make sure you enter the type of license you hold before entering your license number.
