The Affordable Housing Committee hosted a Create your Dream Home Contest. We had children all over Cecil County, from Pre-K to 12th Grade participate. So much talent! One winner from Pre-K to 5th grade and one winner from 6th grade to 12th was chosen. What a hard decision that was! Each winner won a $100.00 gift card! The contest is held every year! The Committee also hosts a pizza party for the participants. This year there was the Singerly Fire Company that showed the fire truck and swag, Cecil County Sheriff's Office showed their police car and swag, Kona Ice for the kids thanks to Allegiant Fire and Kona Ice, EMS Services donated swag, Season's Pizza in Elkton was generous with Pizzas, Ardent Title sponsored the Pizzas and Chips, Redner's in Elkton donated Cupcakes, Moon Services donated swag, Fulton Bank donated swag, and the committee members also gave swag!
